RELEASE NOTES FOR SEL Viewer VERSION 1.0.7 A. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS 1. Silverwood platforms. B. DEPENDENCIES 1. Executes in MS-DOS 6.x and ROM-DOS 6.2 shell. 2. Requires the files selenus.hlp and selenus.str besides the application executable, selview.exe. 3. May require bigmem.sys and himem.sys to be loaded if there are problems running the utility without them. C. CHANGES SINCE THE PREVIOUS RELEASE Bug fixing of RC trackers (SEL Viewer v1.0.7 RC). D. HOW TO USE THIS UTILITY 1. Boot to MS-DOS or ROM-DOS command prompt. 2. Copy the files selview.exe, sel,ini, selview.str, and selview.hlp to a hard drive or USB key (all these files should be in the same directory). 3. GUI interface The SEL Viewer is invoked by entering the following command at a DOS prompt: selview Use the arrow keys to browse through the menu and press the key to select a particular menu. A brief description of the selected menu item is displayed in the tip-view window at the bottom of the GUI. 4. Command-line interface The SEL Viewer can be run as a command-line application for some of the actions that it performs, including clearing the SEL or saving SEL contents to a file. selview [SEL File Name] [Options] a.
