                              ABOUT THIS RELEASE

This document describes some specifics of the Intel(R) server board
SSR212MA FRUSDR Utility Package. This utility is used for updating the 
server management subsystem product level Sensor Data Repository (SDR).

                               INSTALLATION NOTES
=============================================================================
The FRUSDR Loader is meant to be used as a DOS application on a server. 
The utility should be placed onto a bootable DOS media and the system rebooted 
prior to and after using. Running the utility in a Window's DOS box is not 
supported and will provide incorrect results. 

Normal Command Line Use:

A:> FRUSDR -CFG MASTER.CFG

Note: Programming the BMC FRU internal use area clears the SDR repository. 
Therefore, the SDR repository must be reprogrammed after programming the 
BMC. Upon completion of programming the SDR areas, remove the 
update media and reboot the server.

		       SYSTEM SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS/REVISIONS

- Professional Edition Intel Management Module (IMM) needs to be pre-installed 
with firmware before running the package 0.0.1 (or later) update.

                            KNOWN ISSUES/WORKAROUNDS

MA-0.0.6
1. This release will fail gracefully on all configurations not using a
   Professional Edition IMM.
2. This release will not update any FRU records.

                         FEATURES ADDED IN THIS RELEASE
=============================================================================
MA-0.0.6 (based on MA-0.0.3) -- use with DOS FRUSDR.EXE utility
1. Removed the front panel ambient temperature entry (sensor 32). Since this
sensor is not connected to anything on the board and it was causing false
SEL entries to be reported.

MA-0.0.3
1. Changed version label from 'E' to '0', for production purposes.
2. Removed extra space characters in front of "SDR type" values for OFU.

MA-0.E.2 - Engineering Release
1. Updated Master.cfg and SMABMCP.sdr to reflect SSR212MA naming convention.
2. Reintroduced commented Master.cfg FRU options for future FRU updates.
3. Added Master.cfg ability to sense SSR212MA platforms directly.
4. Updated Master.cfg to use 2U SDR records instead of 1U.
5. Updated Master.cfg and SDR to reflect use of 500W power supplies.

MA-0.E.1 - Engineering Release
1. Initial Revision. Taken from SE7520JR2 FRUSDR Package 6.6.3.
2. Removed fan sensors 40h-48h (inclusive), for fan-less BMC funcationality.
