This firmware is intended for use on LSI20320I-R Host Bus Adapters 
which have Integrated RAID capability. Choose either Integrated 
Mirroring Enhanced (IME) or Integrated Striping (IS). 

Note : Do not flash LSI2x320 (non-R) HBA's with this striping or 
mirroring firmware as it will not add the integrated functionality 
to your card, and may harm your HBA.  Instead, use Initiator/Target 
(IT) BIOS and Firmware for LSI2x320 (non-R) HBA.

The steps to flash an LSI20320I-R HBA are:

1. Create a DOS bootable diskette. This can be a basic DOS boot disk 
without a config.sys or autoexec.bat, or if you have a Windows 98 Boot 
disk, you can boot using this boot diskette and bypass the config.sys 
and autoexec.bat files by holding down the left shift key during boot.

Refer to your Operating System documentation for specific instructions 
on creating a DOS compatible boot diskette.


2. Extract or copy the files in this folder to the bootable diskette 
   or media

3. Plug or insert the 20320I-R adapter in any PCI-X slot

4. Boot the system to the diskette or bootable media 


5. At the A:> prompt, type 

'autoexec.bat' (this is the default batch file the factory should use 
		to flash the cards)

-or- 

'autoexec.ie.bat' for IME (mirroring)

-or-

'autoexec.is.bat' for IS (striping)

6. Verify the 20320I-R adapter is flashed by rebooting the system and 
   ensure the OpROM version that display is 5.10.06
