There are four versions of the BIOS. To update, the BIOS identifier (AM0, AK0, V0 or R0) must match your current BIOS
The current BIOS versions are:
1.00.19.AM0
1.00.19.AK0
1.00.17.V0
1.00.19.R0

Current Version of the ECU (EISA Configurations Utility) 2.9.4 is for BIOS versions:
1.00.19.AM0
1.00.19.AK0
1.00.19.R0

Error "Please insert the diskette labeled SYSTEM CONFIGURATION into drive A. Press ENTER when ready ."
Use the 'label' command in DOS to label diskette as: systemcfg

Post error code 060 Keyboard is locked--please unlock
The Xpress LX and Xpress MX Deskside servers have 3 buttons on the front panel.
The rightmost is the Keyboard Lock button.
Press to lock the keyboard and mouse, or restore normal operation.

Clearing out the NVRAM and CMOS
To clear the CMOS on the Intel® Xpress Server Platform:
* Power the system down.
* Locate jumper E0292, then move the jumper to pins 2-3.
* Boot up, and ensure you see a message indicating NVRAM is clear.
* Power down system, and move the jumper back to its initial position, 1-2.

Upgrade to 133MHz Intel® Pentium® OverDrive® processor
Xpress Server Platforms do not support Intel® Pentium® OverDrive® processors or Intel® Pentium® processors with MMX™ technology

Boot sequence
Xpress servers may not boot from SCSI.
Set an IDE device as the primary boot device.

Intel® Xpress Server Platform
When set to 'STD' (standard) mode, SIMM bank 0 is compatible with 1 MB, 2 MB, 4 MB and 8 MB SIMMs.
Jumper setting 2-3 selects 16 MB and 32 MB SIMMs in Bank 0.
When set to 'STD' (standard) mode, SIMM bank 1 is compatible with 1 MB, 2 MB, 4 MB and 8 MB SIMMs.
Jumper setting 2-3 selects 16 MB and 32 MB SIMMs in Bank 1

The Intel® AltServer Platform supports 72-pin SIMM modules
Minimum 2MB, maximum 256MB.
Support for SIMM sizes 1MB to 32 MBs of fast page, parity memory

Minimum 8MB per memory card, maximum 384MB.
