INTRODUCTION ------------ The following files are contained in this directory: README.txt - This file NCSSES.inf - Windows Device Driver for Newisys Enclosure Services devices NCSSES.cat - Digital Signature for this device driver INSTALLATION ------------ 1. Attach the required subsystem to a Windows system 2. Boot the system and log in (with Administrator privileges) 3. The "Found New Hardware Wizard" should launch for each Enclosure Services Processor detected in each attached subsystem. For each of these, perform the following steps: a. Click "Next" b. Select "Search for a suitable driver ..." and click "Next" c. Choose the appropriate location selection option and click "Next" to allow the system to locate a suitable driver. Windows should report that it detected a suitable driver. d. Click "Next" to install this driver. e. Click "Finish" to complete the driver installation. 4. Launch the Device Manager (Control Panel, System, Hardware) to verify that the driver has been correctly loaded. It should appear under the "System devices" section as an "Enclosure Services Device".
