                           INSTALLATION NOTES
================================================================================

1. verify your RMM2 current firmware version number first. 
   - login to RMM2 embedded web interface
   - extend menu "Maintenance"
   - select sub-menu "Device Information" 
   - check "Firmware Version" and "Firmware Build Number"
If it is v.4.2.0 Build 5196, you need to follow step 2 
If is is v.4.2.2 Build 6717, and & you want to re-load firmware 6717, skip step 2
   
2. If the RMM2 current firmware version is v.4.2.0 build5196, you need to update it to
Build 5623 before updating to firmware build 6717 
   - login to RMM2 embedded web interface
   - extend menu "Maintenance"
   - select sub-menu "Update Firmware"
   - select "Browse" button to locate firmware file "Intel_RMM2_FW_5623.bin"
   - select "Upload" button, and wait for the file to load to RMM2
   - select "Update" button to update new firmware
You should wait several minutes to wait for the new FW update and to take effect,
during this time do not power off server.
	- After the update is successful, a message of "Firmware updated successfully.
The device will be reset in a few seconds." would appear to indicate that the firmware was updated successfully.

2. Update firmware to build 6717 
   - login to RMM2 embedded web interface
   - extend menu "Maintenance"
   - select sub-menu "Update Firmware"
   - select "Browse" button to locate firmware file "Intel_RMM2_FW_6717.bin"
   - select "Upload" button, and wait file to load to RMM2
   - select "Update" button to update new firmware
You should wait several minutes to for the new FW update and to take effect,
during this time do not power off server.    
- After the update is successful, a message of "Firmware updated successfully.
The device will be reset in a few seconds." would appear to indicate that the firmware was updated successfully.
