User can download the latest version IDA CD image from support.intel.com User can use IDA CD to update system firmware by the following steps: - Boot server with IDA CD - Click "Get System Updates" Button at IDA home page - IDA has three options to get system firmware update package . From support.intel.com IDA can automatically download system firmware update package from support.intel.com. Server should have valid Internet connection. User can follow the promps on IDA GUI to enter local server IP setting and Internet proxy configuration. Select "Next" button to start firmware download and update process. . From my network IDA can access system firmware update package from a Windows share folder on LAN. User needs to download system firmware update package from support.intel.com and copy to a Windows share folder first. Follow the promps on IDA GUI to enter local server IP setting / Windows* file server name / Windows* account name and its password. Find the system firmware update package in the Windows share folder from the IDA pop-up window. Select "Next" button to start firmware update process. . From USB Disk on Key or Hard Disk IDA can load system firmware update package from USB storage device. User needs to download system firmware update package from support.intel.com and copy it to a USB Disk on Key and insert it into server USB port. Select option "From USB Disk on key or Hard Disk" and select "Browse" button. Select system firmware update package ZIP file in the IDA pop-up window. Select "Next" to start firmware update. Note: System Firmware Update Package is in a .ZIP file format, no need to unzip, directly copy the .ZIP file to Windows folder or USB Disk on Key. Intel(R) One-boot Flash Update (OFU) To update from Windows and Linux or operating systems using the Intel(R) One Boot Flash Update Utility Intel(R) One boot Flash Update utility can be downloaded from support.intel.com and it is part of the "BIOS, Firmware Update & Configuration Utilities" for Windows and Linux. Please refer to Intel OFU user guide for the details of installation and usage.
