Configuring a RAID Array using the on-board Promise* ATA RAID Controller
When the Promise* FastTrack100® BIOS screen appears, press CTRL+F to go to the setup screen.
"Optimize Array for Performance"" creates a RAID 0
"Optimize Array for Capacity"" creates a span
"Optimize Array for Security"" creates a RAID 1
"Create & Duplicate"" copies the master disk to the slave, useful for mirroring existing data.

Error: CMOS Checksum Bad
Clear the CMOS after a BIOS update.

Error: Warning - FastTrak does not detect proper interrupts
The server may hang while booting with an error: "Warning - FastTrak does not detect proper interrupts. Please check your PCI IRQ setup and make sure the PCI slot support Bus Mastering operations." if the Pause key was pressed, while the Promise* option ROM loads. Do not attempt to pause during this load.

There are two SKUs for this server board, the S845WD1 and the S845WD11U. The S845WD11U does not come with an I/O shield and should only be used in a 1U chassis. The S845WD1 comes with an I/O shield and can be used in a 2U or pedestal chassis.
