Issue Number: 2 Title: Windows 2000 Reboot message Implication: If a shutdown is requested either though the Server Control UI or via the soft power switch, OS will shutdown and then show a dialog window prompting the user that it is now safe to turn off the computer, giving them the option to restart. Status: This will not be fixed. Issue Number: 3 Title: Clicking links may cause a script error Implication: If the user clicks on links before the page fully loads a script error may occur. Workaround: Just refresh the window. Status: Fix in future release. Workaround: Hit the refresh button. Status: Netscape issue. May get resolved in future versions of Navigator. Issue Number: 5 Title: ASM Help/Legal links may not resolve to fully qualified pathnames on local file system when accessing http://localhost/intelasm. Implication: Clicking Help and Legal links may simply result in IE Browser window being opened on winnt\system32. Workaround: Connect the system to a live network, reboot the system. Status: Fix in future release. Issue Number: 6 Title: ASM Installation will fail if user reboots during installation process. Implication: After clicking on "Done" button in the last property page during ASM installation, the request for reboot might be delayed, during which system appears to be idle. Workaround: Wait for the reboot request, do not reboot on your own. Status: Fix in future release. Issue Number: 7 Title: ASM Installation will fail on Windows NT if the user tries to install from a machine on the network using the UNC name (ex: \\ServerName\ASM\setup.exe) Implication: An error message will appear during the install program and abort installation. Workaround: Map a drive to the network machine by right clicking on My Computer and selecting "Map Network Drive...". Install again using the newly assigned drive letter (ex: H:\ASM\setup.exe). Status: Fix in future release. --------------- RELEASE HISTORY --------------- ASM 1.2, August 2000: Windows 2000 Release for Intel ISP1100 Internet Server ASM 1.4, April 2001: Windows 2000 and Windows NT Release for Intel ISP1100 Internet Server. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright(c) 2001, Intel Corporation.
