Make sure your expander is at least at B057 firmware level. 2. Download and extract all files to a USB drive. 3. Boot the target system to Windows. 4. (Optional) copy the files to a local drive. 5. Run CMD as administrator. 6. Navigate to directory with windows update script (Utility\Windows). 7. Find SCSI device name for the expander a. Run "Find_Expanders.bat" b. Record the "SCSI ID" for all the expander devices found. The format of the SCSI ID is SCSIx:x,xxx,x (example "SCSI2:1,105,0") 8. Run update script to update expander. a. Run CPLD_Update.bat "SCSI ID" b. Example: CPLD_Update.bat "SCSI2:1,105,0" (use double quotes for the device name) 9. Repeat step 8 for each expander found on step 7. 10.
