2.2 How to Install Driver

2.2.1 New OS installation

   1.) Insert the installation CD and FastTrak Cards connected with hard
   disk, then power up PC

   2.) Install OS as described in the OS installation manual. When
   installation program prompts the following:
"		Chose One
	( ). Install HBA Diskette
	(*). Proceed with Installation"
   insert the HBA diskette you just have made  and select
   "Install HBA Diskette" and press <F10> to install FastTrak
   ATA driver. Then select "Proceed with Installation" to
   continue the new OS installation.
   3.) Just before the OS installation finishes, it will ask you reinstall
   the HBA driver again, you should reinsert the HBA floppy to floppy disk
   at this time to finished OS installation,

2.2.2 Install FastTrak Driver on an existing OS

   1.) After OS boot up, login as root and then inert
   HBA floppy to floppy driver and run command "pkgadd -d diskette1" to
   install FastTrak driver. Run command "init 6" to
   reboot OS.

   4.) During the OS reboot up, you should get some prompt to explain the
   OS has found FastTrak ATA disk. If not found, you should check whether
   hardware and software are installed correctly, or not.

   5.) After OS boot up, login into OS as root and run command "diskadd"
   to add the Array Disk to OS. Please check the detail of usage of
   command "diskadd".
