This updated Firmware Image can only be applied using the RAID storage console and will require a system reboot to take effect.

Updating the RAID controllers Firmware
=======================================
Follow the procedure below to update the firmware via XROM Storcon (<CTRL><G> During POST) or the OS version of StorCon.  The steps below assume the firmware image was saved to a floppy diskette.

1. Launch StorCon, select the applicable IIR controller and press <Enter>. 
2. If the Express Setup menu is displayed, press <F4> to display the Advanced Setup menu. Select the menu option, Configure      Controller and press <Enter>. Insert the floppy disk created by the FW23301.exe into the floppy disk drive. 
3. From the Configure Controller submenu, select Firmware Update and press <Enter>. 
4. XROM StorCon automatically searches for the firmware file from the floppy drive, a:\. The OS version of StorCon asks for      the path to the file (see Firmware Update). Type in the path to the floppy drive and press <Enter>. 
5. After finding the file, StorCon displays the name, description and version of the firmware. Press <Enter>. 
6. Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
