The steps below assume the firmware image was saved to a floppy diskette. 1. Launch StorCon ver 2.10 or later (select the applicable IIR controller and press. 2. If the Express Setup menu is displayed, press to display the Advanced Setup menu. Select the menu option, Configure Controller and press enter. Insert the floppy disk containing the firmware image created by the FW23301.exe into the floppy disk drive. 3. From the Configure Controller submenu, select Firmware Update and press enter. 4. Depending on the version of StorCon, it may automatically search for the firmware file on the floppy drive, a:\, or it may asks for the path to the file. Type in the path to the floppy drive and press enter. 5. After finding the file, StorCon displays the name, description and version of the firmware. Press enter. The update will now be applied. 6. Do not interupt the process, Reboot the system for the changes to take effect.
