Create the "Modules Override" Disk from Download listed above. 2. Booted from the Install CD and allow the installer to load. 3. At the splash screen, arrow down to "Standard Installation," or "Unattended Installation", and press the "e" key. 4. Arrow down to the line that begins with "kernel", and press the "e" key again. 5. At the end of the line starting with "kernel", add the boot parameter "er=modules" and press Enter. 6. Press the "b" key to boot with these new parameters. 7. Continue with the standard installation as outlined in the Caldera OpenLinux 3.1 installation manual.
