Attention! =========== During extraction, this package will create three diskettes, a DEBIAN2.2.6 RAID driver diskette, a Rescue diskette, and a root diskette. Please refer to product and OS documentation for application instructions for this driver. Using This Tool ================ 1. Download and extract the diskettes. 2. The following diskettes will be created: Driver Diskette Rescue Diskette Root Diskette 3. Create a RAID Host Drive using the StorCon utility. 4. Boot from the Debian Installation Boot Disk. 5. At the prompt when the installer prompts you for Root Disk, insert the root disk onto the floppy drive and press 6. Once the "root disk" loads; the installer ask you a set of questions. Please read carefully. 7. At the installation "task" to "Install kernel and modules"; select the source media as the first floppy driver (/dev/fd0) and NOT the cdrom. You will be then prompted to place the boot disk back and followed by a prompt to insert the "driver disk". Do so. 8. At the prompt for "Install base system" ; choose the Debian CD as the install media. 9. Complete the installation process by following the normal installation process as outlined in the instructions in the Debian Linux Installation Manual. ==============================================================================
