Download the version 2.6 firmware update. 2. After downloading the firmware update, double-click on the downloaded file to install the firmware on your local hard drive. 3. From the IWG's Web UI, select System Tools. 4. Select Upgrade Firmware on the left side of the browser screen. 5. Locate the downloaded firmware file (default location c:\Intel_IWG_2.6), and then double-click file named Wi686. The firmware file is displayed in the Firmware Upgrade file box. 6. Click Start. The firmware update process begins and takes a few minutes. The status light flashes and the unit restarts.
