Copyright (c) 2005 Intel Corporation. ============================================================================== The FIXFRU.EXE Utility was released to address an issue with the factory loaded FRU DATA on Intel Factory Integrated SKUs based on the Intel Server Board SE7520JR2. Board only SKU of the Intel Server Board SE7520JR2 are not affected by this issue. Please reference Technical Advisory 0771 for details on the specific issue this utility corrects. Platforms affected by the issue will cause the FRUSDR utility to fail and report an update error. The FIXFRU utility is DOS based. To run it, copy the file to a local hard drive or other media. Boot the system to DOS and type FIXFRU at the DOS prompt. When the utility is finshed, run the FRUSDR utility to load the platform FRU and SDR data. NOTE: It is not necessary to run the FIXFRU Utility unless the FRUSDR utility reports the following error: FRU IMBDEVICE on bus FFh, Device ID 00h, IPMB address 20h, LUN00 Loading Chassis Area Error, invalid chassis type found, must be a hex# from 01 to 18 hex Error, unsuccessful write of FRU file area to fru memory
