This was due to some routines in the INT8 handler not preserving CMOS port 70h. Changed code to only display physical processors during POST. Only physical processor should be displayed on the POST screen. See Netburst Architecture BWG 1.6 article 23. Updated code to properly check for and install microcode patches stored in the user updateable microcode area of flash. Updated Promise RAID option ROM. Fixes problem with rebuild on ATA RAID 1. (2) Expand the BIOS file. Run 'BIOS.EXE a:' to expand the BIOS onto a bootable floppy. A: must have a bootable floppy. (3) Update the boot block by running iflash /p P04-0491.BBO (4) Update the runtime BIOS by running 1.bat Known Problems: None Bug Fixes: Added P64H2 Arbiter Erratum & Workarounds and code updates for Device 29 programming and Hub Interface ECC enable bit described in Intel 82870P2 PCI/PCI-X 64-bit Hub 2 (P64H2) BIOS Guide revision 1.3. Remove code that updates the SMBIOS table type 1 with hard coded product name and version. This should always be obtained from the FRU. Changed size of maximum memory mapped size an addin PCI card can request from 128MBytes to 512MBytes. There was a problem when the address of a memory failure corresponds to a boundary to the DRB regs. BIOS will compare to DRB value normalized to bytes -1. Lock down flash part for SMM only accesses. Fixed the problem that BIOS assumed Intel behavior if BMC access fails. Added a check for SVID. Enabled POST progress codes to be logged to the BMC. Preserve the cursor location when displaying "entering setup" message. This will make is so the screen is drawn properly when an option ROM is displaying text to the screen. Previously, the text would be continued on the line above the "entering setup" message. Enable checking of front side bus data strobe glitches. Updated Promise RAID option ROM. Fixes problem with rebuild on ATA RAID 1. Fixed code so the user binary is cleared when recovery flash is executed. New Features: None Removed Features: None
