EtherDisk 1.2 Release for the 3C980 Fast Etherlink Server NIC

	This EtherDisk release replaces the EtherDisk 1.0 for the
3C980 Fast EtheLink Server NIC. This release supports the 3C980-TX
and the 3C980B-TX Fast EtherLink Server NIC family. DynamicAccess
for Server v1.6 is included in this release which provides a new RSL
(Resilient Server Link),  IEEE 802.1Q multiple VLAN support and Load Balancing 
technology. 

Significant Features:

 	- IEEE 802.1Q multiple VLAN support
	- load balancing with multiple parallel links 
	- Improved resilient server link features
	- Traffic prioritization using DynamicAccess
	- additional driver support for Netware 5

Software Compatibility:

       The 3C980B-TX server NIC version 1.2 software is
       fully compatible with 3C980-TX server NIC hardware.


Upgrading from the Previous Driver Release

       It is strongly recommended that you install the
       3C980B-TX server NIC and version 1.2 software on a
       server where no earlier-version of Fast EtherLink
       Server NICs and drivers are installed. Installing
       the software on an existing 3C980-TX configuration
       will invalidate the resilient server links and VLAN
       tagging that was defined previously.
